We piled into the van, and headed into the great white north at 2 AM on Tuesday night. After a not so bad 11 hours or so, we landed in Emporia, Kansas. Now this is a nice little town, we enjoyed shoppin at Dick's Business Equipment and the Handy-Go-Down thrift emporium. Nice folks, but misleading names.
The Granada Theatre is all renovated and stuff, really fancy like. Just look at this shit:
A nice turnout with a whole mess o' kiddos. We played a clean set of non-offensive or drug related tunes, which would have lasted only about 3 minutes, till we realized that we could just change "cocaine" to "propane", which worked out purty good.
Postin' this from a nice little dive in Kansas City, MO called Davey's Uptown. So far, no stabbins, no shootins, and no hookers, so we're pretty ready for everything to get started.
